The Heart of Virginia Master Gardeners provide gardening programs free and open to the general public.  On several occasions, Richard Nunnally, host of Virginia Home Grown, seen locally on Channel 23, and weekly gardening columnist for the Richmond Times- Dispatch, was our featured speaker.  His topics were “The Ten Questions I Get Asked the Most and the Five I Wish More People Would Ask” and “Best Garden Plants for Virginia”.  Our goal is to continue to provide high caliber gardening speakers for future public programs.
